This trip started out on 4 Mile Trail to Glacier Point on the first night. Day two our group hiked to Upper Illilouette Creek about two miles up from Illilouette Falls to Lost Valley along the Merced Lake Trail where we camped under the burnt forest. From their we continued up the Merced River Canyon to
Merced Lake Junction to Echo Valley and made camp at an unknown spot with panoramic views of the Cathedral Mountain Range and the pointed tip of Mt. Clark. One day 4 we continued to the John Muir Trail
and headed down Nevada falls on the Mist Trail to Half Dome Village and flowing beer.
DAY 1: 4 Mile Trail to Glacier Point to Illilouette Creek (CAMP@ILLILOUTTE CREEK)
DAY 2: Illilouette Creek to Illilouette Falls to Nevada Falls to Merced Lake Trail (CAMP@MERCED RIVER)
DAY 3: Merced Lake Trail to Cathedral Fork Connection to Cathedral Fork Trail (CAMP@SUNRISE CREEK)
DAY 4: Cathedral Fork Trail to JMT to Mist Trail to Happy Isles
