Disconnecting rubber exhaust hangers can be a real bear but it's possible with needle nose pliers, some silicone grease, and the right technique. Pay attention to your O2 sensors and you can carefully lower an exhaust away from your car to work on or above it.
The car featured is a Ford Mondeo Mk3 with a Duratec HE (single exhaust system).
You will need:
