01/06/2013 Two Men Can't Share a Steak!

Описание: This Saturday Rub clip features JB, Garry, Spud and Damo with Spud ready to launch at someone in the box... or two someones. Spud tries to water it down but it's almost a bomb. But before he does, Garry pumps his own tyres up by reading tweets about him being welcomed back after last night's absence. So then Spud gets going into story mode. Damo sent him a text asking if he wanted to come to dinner on Tuesday night with Garry, Crawf, Jim, Hutchy and himself. So Spud did some homework and discovered this dinner date, he dubs it a "function", had been planned for a month, and he was offended he was only asked at the last minute, hence he said no. Somehow he got some inside information about the happenings of that night. Garry allegedly didn't want to make eye contact with the waiter because he's just an angry bastard, and also wanted a table where they could be left alone by the rest of the riff raff in there. Amongst the 47 pork rolls Hutchy put away, the menu was something Spud decided he needed to share with us all, because he reckons it's too fancy for real men. Have a listen to him read it out -- he sounds like the biggest bogan on radio. He pronounces the Ls in tortillas and the J as jay in jalapeno, which they find absolutely hysterical. But he can't believe they've attended a place that serves silkened tofu with pickled ginger, cucumber and mint. The best is next, though. He pronounces the J again in fajitas this time. You are an absolute moron, Spud. And I don't even think he's putting that on, I think that's how he would normally say it. He sounds like the kind of idiot that would read fillet mignon phonetically. Listen to him say osso bucco amongst all the laughing there. But this isn't the bombshell -- that concerns the ordering of the mains. The waitress looking after the boys took a photo of Jim and Damo apparently with just the one main in front of them, because what Spud has discovered, is that Warrior asked JB if they could share a steak rather than order two separate ones. That's right, Damo was so full from the entrees, he's asked to share Jim's main. Even I know that this is unforgivable for men to do, let alone for the Triple M boys. Garry reckons it's bad enough to share with your Mrs, but worse if two men do it. It's almost emasculating. Jim tries to tell him this is the modern man and that he's comfortable with his manlihood not being threatened by this, but he's fighting a losing battle. I like how Spud is left to do the work in the segment but then Garry chimes in with his mini insults on the side, though the one about only needing 6 steaks at their next BBQ for 7 was a good one, not to mention his crack about Damo cutting the meat up and feeding it to Jim.
