Ontario Premier Doug Ford holds a news conference in Thunder Bay to mark the city’s progress on building new homes. Through the second round of the province’s Building Faster Fund, Thunder Bay will receive $880,000 for exceeding its provincially designated housing target.
Also speaking at the event are Ontario Housing Minister Rob Flack, local Mayor Ken Boshcoff, and Thunder Bay–Atikokan MPP Kevin Holland.
Ford faces questions from the press about Canada’s ongoing trade negotiations with the Trump administration in the United States, as well as his government’s decision to cancel a $100-million contract with Elon Musk’s Starlink.
