Billy Connolly going to the Isle of Arran on the paddle steamer Waverley.
In 1974, Films of Scotland and the Clyde Tourist Association made a
30 minute film about a panorama of the Clyde from Biggar to Brodick.
It featured Billy Connolly and Ron Geesin playing folk songs in front of a small audience as she sailed from Wemyss Bay to the Isle of Arran and back, and also on the top of Goatfell filmed from the air.
A brilliant wee blast from the Arran past!
Even back then, half a Century ago, the Waverley was the last sea-going paddle-steamer in the World.
