On August 4, 2020, clarinetist Evan Christopher and Armstrong House Director of Research Collections Ricky Riccardi hosted over 3 hours of special programming devoted to the way the Louis Armstrong House Museum and musicians around the world, have been dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a touching segment of the birthday celebration, trumpeter Enrico Tomasso told the story of first playing for Louis in England in 1968 when young Rico was just 7-years-old. He also explains the genesis behind his popular "Pop Up Louis" series and performs two wonderful selections, "Skip the Gutter" backed by Andrew Oliver on piano, and "That's My Home" backed by Spats Langham on guitar and vocals.
