Brie, my Briard, came into my life when she was 8-weeks old. Currently, she is 5-months-old. Socialization period is between birth and approximately 4-months of age. I recommend that families focus on socialization during this important time. It’s also a good time to use praise, toys, and food (Marker Training) to introduce puppy to how to control "body movements".
In this video, Brie and I are in Hayesville, NC at Lake Chatuge Dam Trail, Campground, Downtown for “walking” training. In addition, off-leash recall, sit, wait and place in the yard.
