I went on a blind get away in Silloth - Cumbria.
It was a very quiet place. I found a small motorcycle museum and discovered there was an abandoned R.A.F base behind where I was staying and there had been a motorcycle track active between 1964 to 1982. It closed when Gary Hislop, younger brother of Steve Hislop, lost his life in an accident there at just 19 years of age.
My mind went on fire and I started a week long side quest where I obsessed over the site and it's history. My goal to recreate the track on Assetto Corsa.
I did just that. I poured around 25 hours in total into this. Its still a work in progress. I have lots to do like reduce the width of the track, sort surface bumps out and general graphical improvements, but I did it and the whole process was very enjoyable for me to do.
