Описание: Erosion can impact greatly on land production and the environment. This erosion control case study is on a farm located near Yankalilla on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Over the years the creek has been effected by cattle grazing, loss of biodiversity and the effects of fast flowing water. A variety of erosion control methods have been implemented including fencing, revegetation, a creek crossing and engineering work to stabilise the creek path. The aim is to stop erosion, increase biodiversity and limit the amount of sediment travelling downstream.
