Let’s be honest — some of you are not broke because you lack skill.
You’re broke because you’re too shy to ask for business.

You’re sitting there waiting for clients to “discover” you,
like they’re doing talent scouting on Instagram. 😅

Wake up.

If you’re a freelancer — whether you design websites, edit videos, or manage social media —
you have to be shameless enough to tell people what you do.

DM people.
Message brands.
Reach out to small businesses.
Tell them, “Hey, I help businesses with ___, and I’d love to offer you that service.”

And no — I’m not saying you spam 10,000 people like a robot.
I’m saying you be strategic.

Find people who actually need your service.
Craft a simple, respectful message.
Follow up after 3 days.
Follow up again after a week.
Then after two weeks, if there’s still no response — move on.

It’s not rejection. It’s redirection.

That one DM you’re scared to send could be your next big client.

When I was starting out, most of my early clients came from cold DMs — not ads, not luck, just courage.
You’ll be surprised how many people are willing to work with you if only you’d say hello first.

So stop waiting for opportunities.
