Tokyo Japan Travels 2024 - Day 4 Design Festa Volume 60

Описание: We made it the weekend and this meant it was time for Design Festa Volume 60. This is an artist festival that is held every year at Tokyo Big Sight, and there are thousands of artists from all over the world that participate. There were so many talented artists at this event, we wished it lasted more than 2 days because we didn't make it all the way through each building before it was over. This was just one day, Saturday of the event.
We did attend the event to see if it's something that we wanted to add to our show portfolio but we learned that there are additional customs requirements for those bringing in items to sell into the country. There is also the problem of getting items to the event. It was worth checking out and gave us plenty of inspiration.
Just remember if you attend this event, it's very, very crowded and there are several buildings or sections to get through in a short amount of time. In my research, this event takes place twice a year and is on a Saturday and Sunday from 10-4 pm. You saw us go inside the building when we first arrived but the entry point for those who have tickets is at two points, the West Hall and the 2nd story to the right of the hall. We were able to download tickets through the website and onto our phone using KKDay but there are several apps. We found the right app through trial and error. Lines outside for ticket holders moved quickly.
