Singapore Airlines was one of the first airlines to launch the Airbus A380 on 25th October 2007 - ((V-SKA).

The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest passenger aircraft, designed to revolutionise long-haul travel with unmatched capacity and comfort. Developed by Airbus, the program was officially launched on 19th December 2000, with its first flight taking place on April 27, 2005.

This plan is known for its iconic full double-deck design, the aircraft can carry between 500 to over 800 passengers depending on configuration.

Powered by four massive engines (Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or Engine Alliance GP7200), the A380 offers a range of approximately 15,000 km (8,000 nautical miles), making it ideal for ultra-long-haul routes. It’s also famous for its quiet cabin, advanced aerodynamics, and smooth flight experience.

Despite its engineering brilliance, Airbus announced the end of A380 production in 2019 due to declining demand, with the final aircraft delivered in 2021.
