Chocolate chip muffins:

1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup homemade buttermilk (1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon vinegar)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven 425

Make buttermilk by combining 1 cup of whole milk, with 1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar, let curdle.

Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla beat again. Stir in buttermilk. Add dry ingredients

Fold in chocolate chips

Bake at 425 for 5 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350 and bake for 15 minutes




Chocolate chip cookies: 🍪
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Beat butter and sugars well. Add in egg and vanilla lightly mix until almost combine. Add in dry ingredient and bake for 10 minutes. Once slightly cool sprinkle the top with sea salt
