The MACPO 1600 line allows to produce corrugated panels from flat sheets in coils and to weld their edges in a fully automatic way obtaining tanks for transformers. Through this process, using sheet strips as wide as up to 1600 mm, it is possible to cover the full range of distribution transformers up to a power rating which can reach approximately 8-10 MVA depending on the transformer design.
With this line, it is possible to obtain all the 4 panels forming the tank from a single piece of corrugated wall, by simply folding the concerned wall in the areas corresponding to the edges avoiding three welds, that is avoiding risks of leakage and, above all, waste of time during the assembly phase before the final welding.
To achieve this aim we reccomend to use the machine tipe PPV 1600 which allows to perform the above mentioned bending rapidly.
