This time of the year I decided to trek up to Tilicho Lake with my friend from Mexico. We did it in winter season, February 2025. The trip was very very awesome and enjoyed snow fall for the first time Manang village, Manang, Nepal. It took us a week in total the way we did our trek to have to enjoy the frozen Tilicho Lake is known as an Ice Lake as well.
The day we reached lake, temperature was -22 degrees Celsius, the lake allocated at the altitude of 4919 meter above from sea level. Being around highest glacial lake in the world made me feel cry and the lake stole our heart.
We could have panoramic view from the top during different seasons.
There were only few houses over and for sure those houses are known as a home stay would close in hard core winter season in. where we could have amazing lodging and fooding.
Just looking forward to attempt again and again
