The CRUNCH Channel in the Express Plus 5:25 can do a lot of different things. While it's name gives away it's most common usage, it shouldn't be overlooked for lower settings of the Gain control with lower wattage selections for amazing clipped and overdriven sounds. This riff features the Express 5:25+ delivering tasty grit and grind in the 5 watt Single-Ended Wattage setting with the bridge position of a Tele. The Gain is just starting to come on in the CRUNCH Channel here.
Played through the Express 5:25 head with a matching Mesa 1x12 Lone Star 19 Extension Cabinet with the neck position single coil pickup of a Fender Telecaster. Mic'd with an Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser 421.
