When it comes to crafting guitars that deliver up the tone and feel of a rare, hard to find vintage guitar, Santa Cruz Guitar Co. might well be the leader of the pack. Their 1934 D inspired so much love that they applied the same tonewoods and building principles to other models, including the OM. Master-grade Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack spruce, both harvested in the 1930s, held together by Adirondack bracing and hot hide glue, ensure nuanced vintage tone is achieved. It's incredibly well-balanced, with a beautiful note decay and sweet high end. The enlarged soundhole gives this OM a bit more depth and volume compared to a standard OM. A tinted top, herringbone purfling, ivoroid binding, and Dalmatian pickguard add even more old world flair. This pre-owned model is in excellent condition, with a great set-up and no fret wear.
