How to kill Uber Diablo Clone with starter Blizzard Sorceress (no gear). Turn on subtitles for info.

GEAR REQUIREMENT:
Buy 3-socketed bow from Charsi in Act 1 normal and craft Edge runeword (Tir Tal Amn).
Edge is used to apply 'Prevent Monster Heal'. (It's also useful for -15% vendor prices).
Alternatively you could vendor buy a blue javelin or a melee weapon with PMH, but Edge also has a poison effect that makes it easy to see when you successfully hit (DClone will turn green from poison).

GEAR TIPS:
Having 75% fire & lightning res makes it much easier but is not required.
High res and 500 life is enough.
There is no min damage requirement, leveling gear is enough.

Buy blue gloves/boots/belt with fire or lightning res from vendors in hell.
Equip any rings and neck with fire/lightning res you have.
FCR is not needed (Blizzard has cooldown).

Head: Lore runeword (+1 skills and +30% lightning res).
Chest: Stealth runeword.


BUILD:
Uber Diablo has 95% resistances, so we need some points in Cold Mastery to reduce his cold res.
Difference between level 6 vs level 16 Cold Mastery is double damage (2x faster kill).
At lvl 6 CM (-45% to enemy res) Diablo has 50% cold res.
At lvl 16 CM (-95% to enemy res) Diablo has 0% cold res.
At lvl 36 CM (-195% to enemy res) Diablo has -100% cold res, which is the limit.


Fire Hydra build is possible, but much slower because Diablo has 95% fire res. We would need Infinity (v. expensive), or Lower Resist wand to kill him in a reasonable time, but even with the wand it takes longer than Blizzard. There are also sometimes Fire immune mobs in the area.


LOCATION:
Go to Arcane Sanctuary waypoint (Act 2), then walk straight up the stairs to Palace Cellar Level 3 portal, Uber Diablo will spawn there.
He can't walk through a door, so you're safe behind it.
There are no cold immune mobs in the area (except for a very rare unique single mob).


GAMEPLAY:
Shoot Diablo with your Edge bow and arrows to apply 'Prevent Monster Heal', otherwise he might regen life faster than we damage him.
Edge also applies a 5 sec poison, so when Diablo turns green for few sec that means you've successfully landed a hit and PMH is applied.

If you have a point into Enchant, use it beforehand to increase your attack rating (chance to hit).

You may be tempted to shoot arrows through the door, but it takes forever: arrows don't connect, Diablo runs away and constantly spawns fire under you. It's easier to run circles around him in his room. With 10% chance to hit it takes 10 arrows on average.

After PMH move behind a wall and slowly chip him down with Blizzard through the wall (aim at the wall, half of the Blizzard will land on the other side).
You can see Diablo silhouette when he uses abilities, or you can cast Hydra at the door to find out where he is.

You can go to town if needed, but reapply PMH when you return (he won't heal while you're away, until you hit him).


TIPS:
PMH lasts for 80 minutes(!)
PHM doesn't apply from Mercenary or from spells.

If you leave the area (or move about 2 screens away) DClone will stop regaining life (regardless of PMH). Upon returning he will still not regen life, until you do damage to him. Once you hit him, his life regeneration will resume (although even then sometimes it doesn't, I don't know why, but as a rule the life regen should resume when you hit him). So if you die or go to town, reapply PMH before you start doing damage.

Mercenary is not needed, they die anyway. But if your merc can survive few hits, you might use him to tank for few seconds while you shoot arrows.
Don't use Insight on Mercenary, because it has +Poison dmg which will make the boss turn green and you won't know whether you landed a hit with Edge or was that your merc hit.

With good gear and enough points into Cold Mastery you can kill Uber Diablo with Blizzard without PMH, but at low gear PMH is required.


TLDR:
Level up Blizz Sorc, use leveling gear.
Craft Edge bow (Tir Tal Amn).
Buy blue gloves/boots/belt with fire res from Charsi (act1 hell).
Go from Arcane Sanctuary WP (A2) up the stairs to Palace Cellar Level 3, DClone will spawn there.
Use Edge bow to shot Diablo to apply 'prevent monster heal', he will turn green when you successfully hit.
Walk through a door and kill Diablo with Blizzard through the wall (he can't walk through small door).
