Описание: In 1922, the Chicago Tribune hosted one of the most famous design competitions of all time asking architects to submit designs for a new headquarters for the newspaper to be located at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River. American architects entering the competition had a noticeable advantage over the European architects in that American architects understood the relationship of architecture to business and society in the context of the modern city.
