Convair XB-46 - A Convair Progress Report dated 10/1/46 featuring numerous photos of the elegant XB-46 medium bomber under construction. In total, there are 21 pages of material with 17 photos.

Goodyear MX-778 Missile - Progress Report no. 7 for the MX-778 subsonic air-to-ground missile from June 1947. The 11 page report features 3 pages of general arrangement drawings; the final report on the MX-778 will be released next month.

Saunders-Roe/Martin Nuclear Princess - A comprehensive 73 page Martin report from July 1959 analyzing the feasibility of converting the Princess flying boat to nuclear power. The report features 9 pages of drawings, including several interesting configuration studies.

Retromechanix is scanning, restoring and publishing rare aerospace photos, illustrations and documents covering lesser known American aircraft from the first half of the 20th century, such as forgotten prototypes and secret projects which remained on the drawing board. By the end of the project, we estimate that subscribers will have access to an archive of over 20,000 pages of primary documents shedding light on secret aircraft projects, prototypes, and lesser known aspects of US aerospace history.
