Progressive South Asia Collective (PSAC) is a formally registered club at Purdue University, West Lafayette. It is a scholar-activist and educational platform that seeks to begin discussions at Purdue regarding issues of significant political and historical relevance.
The collective believes that education is a weapon against the parochial right-wing, casteist, and Islamophobic forces that engulfed South Asia and the universities in the United States. Therefore, the collective’s Inaugural Lecture Series aims to introduce issues of caste, politics of history, and violence in South Asia.
