American Tractor Museum Perryville Mo Valentines Day Special

Описание: Grab a cup (or a pot) of coffee, sit back, relax and enjoy a walk through a bit of American Farming History. Most of the items to be shown are from a generation before my own, but none the less are jewels to enjoy from our Farming Heritage. Many brands are new to me and I've been actively involved in preserving old farm tools and machinery for most all my life. Well, preserving to me means keeping them from heading to the junk yard only to be returned to us in the form of foreign goods with less inherent value. 'Preserving' to the curators of this museum means bringing every item back to a condition that's better than the day they rolled off the assembly line.
The assemblage of machinery in this small museum is nothing short of awe inspiring. The meticulous care given these machines reflects the honor and respect these people are giving to the generations of hard working farmers and their families that have gone before us. They and the manufacturers of the same generations are the ones that lived the hard lives paving the way for the farming families of today.
Unfortunately for you, the viewer, I have very little to add to the video on the vast majority of machines, but the two of us enjoyed making the walk about for you none the less.
