A video taken on the 8th of January 2024 showing the extent of the New Year floods near Staines bridge over the Thames.
The Slug and Lettuce bar and restaurant is surrounded and across the river water levels at The Swan Hotel are approaching danger levels.
The Thames river path is flooded in various sections in the area.
Water levels are rising and smaller tributary streams that feed into the Thames are starting to back up and flood further inland.
