When the Scripps Health oncologist and her patient discovered they shared a common connection as national champion ballroom dancers, she promised him they would dance when he recovered from an aggressive form of lymphoma - a pact she said visibly uplifted his spirits. The pair share their story during Scripps Health's Cancer Survivors Day at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA as a tribute to the care team who made a miracle happen and an inspirational message to show others you can bounce back.
