Tekken 1 [PS1] - play as Kunimitsu

Kunimitsu is the sub-boss for Michelle in the game. He is an unlockable playable character in this version of it.

===== ABOUT KUNIMITSU =====
As an "alternative design" to Yoshimitsu (she was once part of his Manji clan), she offers a unique contrast to the space ninja. In Tekken 1, Kunimitsu is often mistaken as a male character due to the fact that she uses Yoshimitsu's voice and also her physical build being far more closer to a male's one. It is unknown on whether the developers intended for this character to be male in the first place or not.

Gameplay-wise, she is mostly a derivative of Yoshimitsu for the most part... she does not have the sword strike or sword thrust that Yoshimitsu has (which makes sense considering her weapons). The weapons in both of her hands acts as nothing but aesthetics in Kunimitsu's case.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- In the PS1 version of the game, her chest and neck area are covered by inner black clothing. In the Arcade version, these areas of her are exposed.

---- Her character select screen portrait image is identical to Yoshimitsu's one.

===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 1 =====
This version of the game is virtually arcade perfect, even bettering it in a lot of ways, such as the sub-bosses and Heihachi being made to be unlockable playable characters; FMV endings for the regular characters; and also offering an excellent Arranged soundtrack. The minor downside is that the character portraits on the select screen are static when you confirm them, unlike in the Arcade where they had some animation. I imagine that when this game came out to the PSX in 1995, players must have been overjoyed to have the opportunity to play a "better-than-the-arcade-version" game in their own home.
