Some recent thoughts while I showcase the stunning new menu from Tendril (pr invite)
We have to start somewhere and if Veganuary opens your eyes to a new way of living that’s better for you, the animals and the planet then that can only be a good thing 🤗
The dinner menu (lunch is similar but more compact)
To start 🍽️
Smoked aubergine. lemon tahini. crispy rice - this was insane and I loved it so much!)
Raw marinara. basil
Butter bean parfait. chilli garlic
Fluffy pitta
To follow:
Grilled celeriac skewer. onion jam. rose harissa
Crispy enoki.. toasted mushroom tea. chives
Confit squash. massaman. shiso. pok choy
Lemon grass aioli. potato terrine
Tendril dessert of the day - which for us was the tiramisu and a chocolate mousse 🍫
Price: £47 pp for 7 courses - which I think is incredible value for what you get
We also added 2 dishes from the à la carte menu which were:
‘Chinatown’ purple sweet potatoes with sticky soy and sesame - £11
And
Nappa cabbage fritter with kimchi dust and onion aioli - £11
My fave from the set menu was the smoked aubergine and the celeriac skewer and I was obsessed with the Nappa cabbage fritter from the à la carte 🍲
Tendril has such a nice vibe & Chef Rishim is so kind and generous and it shows in the food.
If you are looking to try lots of new things or for somewhere for a special occasion - this is the place for you 💚
And well done for making it halfway to all my Veganuary pals 💃
