Kerala HC Stops Arrest of Absconding Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil in Harassment Case

Описание: Kerala High Court has granted temporary relief to suspended Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil, staying his arrest in the sexual harassment case.

Rahul, who has been missing for 10 days, approached the High Court after the Thiruvananthapuram Sessions Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea.

Justice K. Babu has ordered that detailed arguments be heard when the plea comes up again on December 15.
Police continue efforts to trace the MLA as the political storm grows in Kerala.
