The city in Jiangsu province, just 45 minutes from Shanghai by high-speed train. Albeit being in the shadow of its neighbor, that does not hinder its growth to come up with three supertalls built in 10 years span.

The main landmark, Zifeng Tower was once within 10 world's highest buildings become a symbol of Nanjing rapid progress despite its dark history 80 years ago.

The only representative from Europe, Moscow take a very different path from its west neighbors by easily approving supertall skyscrapers in the city center. That also means Moscow dominating 10 tallest buildings in Europe.

Together with Hong Kong Island, Manhattan are two most developed islands in the world. Land scarcity force mayors and developers to build vertically for space that sparks innovations along the way such as elevators, escalators, as well as metro system to handle high traffic commuters.

Eight supertalls in Guangzhou sitting close to each other. If that is not enough, Canton Tower at 600 meters high located just across the Pearl River with horizontal Ferris wheel operated one level above observation deck.

1. Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
18 supertalls, yep you heard it right, and increasing—fast. These supertalls are mostly group together in two places as shown in video. the one batch located near the Dubai Marina and the other are along Sheikh Zayed Road. The one near Dubai Marina are mostly luxury apartments with penthouses one of the most expensive in the world.
