Barry Dillon is the CEO and co-founder of Venture Out Wilderness Project CLG, a Galway based social enterprise and registered charity. Venture Out will be 10 yrs old in 2025 and during this time they have engaged almost 5000 individuals in a wide range of health and wellbeing, personal development and youth work focused supports and services, all delivered through the medium of outdoor based programmes.

In establishing and growing Venture Out, Barry has drawn upon his academic experience in Social care, youth work and family support, while he also has a number of lead qualifications in outdoor activities and pursuits. These include Forest school leader, mountain leader, and outdoor facilitation with groups.
