Lovejoy - The Perfect Pair (Original Demo)

Описание: Demo / Original Version of The Perfect Pair, a cover by Lovejoy.

Upon first release on Spotify, users heard this version of the song instead of the proper one. It's unknown why this happened. In this version, the vocals didn't fit the instrumental's key at all (amongst other differences, such as the short intro not being present).

Lots of criticism was shared around, calling the cover terrible because of it's mistakes. Lovejoy didn't respond to this, but behind the scenes they were definitely working on it. Three weeks later, the Spotify release was updated to the final version, with corrected pitches (and overall a more polished cover).

It's unknown whether the song being updated was due to the criticism, or if it was meant to be updated to the better version all along. Either way, we got a lovely song out of it!
