Our Village's Storm Created a Disaster Downstream

Описание: In this video we show how the recent storms in central Portugal have led to rising water levels in our village — and how that water then travels downstream to the River Mondego in Coimbra.
While many videos have focused on the storms themselves, this one looks at what happens next. Where does all that water go? What happens when reservoirs and dams are under pressure? And why is Coimbra now seeing the impact?
We filmed in our village and at the dam to show how quickly water levels are rising and how it all connects. The River Mondego has already burst its banks in parts of Coimbra, and more rain is forecast.
