Описание: Lobster Fishing is a dangerous job. Along Canada's rocky Atlantic coastline, lobster fishing is a way of life - and it all takes place in the winter, when the ocean is subject to often terrible storms, not to mention freezing water temperatures.

In Nova Scotia, adventurer Mark Robinson shows us how fishermen trap the lobsters we see on our dinner table or in fancy restaurants. He joins the lobster boat Mister Mariner for Dumping Day, when the season officially starts at the end of November. The boat heads out with nearly 400 lobster pots at the break of dawn to find their favorite fishing spot where they will drop the pots into the water. Most of the catch will be found in the following few weeks, because as the water cools further into the six month fishing season, the lobsters get more lethargic, and hibernate - making them less likely to pursue the bait laid into these traps.

On this expedition, Mark explains and participates in the rigors and dangers of being a commercial fisherman. We see the difficulties of the job on even a mild day, as this particular Dumping Day actually leads to one tragic death from a man overboard on a different boat. And we also see what could happen if storms increase the wave size for these boats. One slight change in the weather could turn these lobstermen's day into an episode of 'Deadliest Catch'.
