Maker's Notes
This solo model tenor ukulele model resulted from a complete re-design of the traditional tenor ukulele. The body rape is modified to give 14 frets clear of the body, whilst keeom let re-desighe midle of the lower bout. The interion theing The radiused fingerboard is also favoured by jazz players and single note soloing.
The cutaway gives easier access to the high frets.
The radiused fingerboard is also favoured by jazz players. The initial sound is warm and bright, but the bass response increases with playing, as the additional interior bracing settles under string tension.
The bridge has a two-hole per string design, ensuring optimal string angle over the bridge saddle.
To use this two-hole design copy the way the current strings are fitted after burning a small bead on the end of the string.
The initial strings are medium gauge Titanium nylon trebles with a smooth wound Oasis gold low G string.
The blackwood body wood comes from a sustainably harvested resource in the Ottway Ranges, Victoria.
I hope you will enjoy this instrument for many years to come. Detailed photos are available on request.
