I spent almost a week in Vienna, Austria exploring the city, wandering around Old Town, and taking a day trip to Bratislava in Slovakia. I haven't been to central Europe much and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful both of these cities were.
Vienna was very charming and peaceful. The streets, historical buildings, cafes, and restaurants are all so beautiful and the people were extremely friendly. I felt very calm wandering around the streets of Vienna.
A day trip to Bratislava from Vienna was super easy and quick via bus. Bratislava has a similar vibe with Baroque and Gothic architecture throughout Old Town. The town had a more hip vibe and it was still pleasant to get lost and wander the streets.
