Our first ever visit to a city in Mindanao turned out to be a great beginning to this part of our travel adventure. Dapitan City has a relaxed friendly vibe with lots of public green space, big old trees, cool historical homes, and the shrines and monuments to Dr. Jose Rizal that the town is famous for. We enjoyed spending time learning and contemplating the life of Jose Rizal in this beautiful setting.
