This is the 2nd 394xp I have built. Took me a month. Went to start it, it ran, but had no power. Full story is here:

Long story short, my intake block was UPSIDE DOWN. This was NOT an intuitive fix, and only a seasoned pro could have possibly suggested it. I had other pro's that had many other suggestions.
Big thanks to JMSSAWS on arboristsite for pointing me in the right direction.
I will check the saw IN WOOD later, and if it continues to run poorly I will make another adendum.
