Auf dem Schönjöchl bei Föhnwind zu landen ist eine große Herausforderung für die Modellpiloten. Es musste immer auf die Windrichtung geachtet werden, und diese hat oft gewechselt. Zudem gab es am Hang eine Leewalze, die durchflogen werden musste. Die meisten Piloten haben das bravurös gemeistert. Mit dabei waren immer die fachkundigen Mitarbeiter vom Flying Circus Team, die mit ihren Anweisungen zum Gelingen der Landungen beitrugen. Gratulation.
Landing on the Schönjöchl in foehn winds is a great challenge for model pilots. You always had to pay attention to the wind direction, which changed frequently. There was also a leeward roll on the slope that had to be flown through. Most of the pilots mastered this brilliantly.
