In this new video, I share with you one of my favorite books which is Ultimate Back Fitness & Performance by Dr. Stuart McGill. This book has been a staple in furthering my education when it comes to training athlete's and everyday individual's. Dr McGill's book has a lot great information when it comes to strengthening the lower back and helping individual's with lower back pain. However, this book is a bit more geared towards the strength coach, personal trainer, physical therapist, chiropractor or any clinician working with someone that may have lower back pain or is looking to prevent lower back injuries. With that being said, this book still may be highly beneficial to the lay person who is looking to familiarize themselves with lower back fitness and high performance. In this video, I give a detailed review about how this book being worth $45.00 was worth way more in terms of value than the $5000.00 I spent on physical therapy, chiropractic care and massage therapy during my recovery from a herniated disc.
Correction: 6th edition is out not 7th edition.
