Getting the bottom of the cab finished in order to place the cab. The goal is to have it set, so I don’t have to take it on/off multiple times during the rest of the build. I try my hand at the other side of autobody work… bondo. But, the good thing is I am able to get paint on it finally! “Tartan Turquoise” is the color I have chosen to go with, it is the original paint that it would have had when it came off the assembly line.
By the end of this video, I would have worked on this truck for a total of 1 year and 4 days from 9/15/23 - 9/19/24. Hard to think that so much time has passed. I keep telling myself that “It shouldn’t have taken this long, what am I doing wrong?” My Dad just smiles and says “You are doing plenty, even professionals take time to get their builds the way they want, and they have a whole team working under them.”
Patience is a virtue I have yet to develop.
