This video is a longplay attempt showing the game’s tight controls, escalating difficulty, and ruthless knockout rules. I made it through to Race 15, where the margin for error becomes extremely thin.

Fast, frantic, and deceptively simple, Micro Machines is one of those games that’s easy to pick up but incredibly hard to master — and just as tense today as it was back in the early ’90s.
