Sonic Rush Adventure: Part 20: Completing the Pirates' Hideout

Описание: After finding the three markers on three Hidden Islands, Sonic went back to the Deep Typhoon to prepare the return to the Pirates' Hideout to finally unlock its entrance.

However...

When Marine got excited for this next step into her adventure, the others had bad news to give her...

She was going to be left behind. Blaze, got angry at her refusal to accept this, and outright called her a nuisance that kept causing trouble for her own crew, essentially calling her a lousy captain.

Tails, and even Sonic kept their mouths close, because they knew that Blaze wasn't wrong about this claim, even if she was a bit too mean about how she told Marine off. They just hoped that the girl with understand and get over it eventually.

Even then... Marine was still determined to prove herself that she was a capable captain, somehow!

After this rough scene, Marine will disappear from her island. Talk to the other NPCs, and they'll have no idea where she is.

It's because of this that you won't be able to take on anymore more Missions for now, however, I was still able to talk to Gardon at the Ocean Tornado's port to pick up more Sol Emerald missions, though I can't actually take those on yet, either.

Back at the Pirates' Hideout Entrance later on, use the markers in the Top Screen to rotate the symbols in the Touch Screen to their correct orientation. You'll know they've been set correctly once they've started lighting up in blue.

Inside the Pirates' Hideout, they realized that it was an ancient ruins that originally belonged to other people before the pirates took over. It was time to track them down, make them pay, and figure out whatever last secrets they must be hiding!

This is the final normal Zone in the whole game, though it really doesn't feel like that, doesn't it?

Blast water cannons and ride on their streams, catapult rocks through breakable walls, or ride on dolphins underwater and see if you can pass them through every large hoop. If you bump into a wall with one, you'll helplessly fall off, which could lead you falling to your death.

You can also let large anchors carry you upwards, but don't let them drop on top of you, or that is also instant death!

Eventually, Sonic, Tails, and Blaze manage to catch up to Captain Whiskers' crew. They then sprung their trap on them.

It seemed like they were singing a shanty to summon a great evil to attack Sonic and his friends, but this turn out to be a jest.

Then Johnny shows up, and surprise surprise, he's actually a part of Whiskers' crew.

Whiskers & Johnny decided that they wanted to have a tag team battle against Sonic & Blaze!

In this boss battle, you'll have to beat both Whiskers & Johnny in one fight. Whiskers is big and heavy, preferring to Ground Pound you or breathe fire against you (flames Blaze still takes damage from). Meanwhile, Johnny will keep zooming at you with his high speed capabilities.

All the while, you get to fight on different floors, but they tend to be snaked with buzzsaws.

Beat both of these robotic buccaneers, and you win! I also wanna note here how this boss fight is the only time you'll get to hear Whiskers' voice. "Shiver me timbers!"

Whiskers & Johnny felt cornered. Johnny decided to make a hasty retreat, leaving Whiskers to Sonic & Blaze.

He was very flustered not to give them back the Jeweled Scepter that he stole. He may be the Captain of his crew, but apparently he was also working under someone even bigger than him, and he did not want to anger them on this mission...

He summoned Mini & Mum to help him with his last escape, but he wasn't entirely done with Sonic & Blaze yet.

Whiskers' crew made it back out to sea, but then...

Marine suddenly caught up to them, and she was ANGRY, and ready to prove herself to her friends by hunting down Whiskers, herself!

Sonic and the others had to catch up with Marine before something terrible happens to her!
