A reupload of my 2009 'Cross-Country Trip' from Teignmouth to Dundee that was lost recently. I was able to find the original file however and have reuploaded it piece by piece with a few modified editing methods.
This video starts off at Paddington Station, where bursting in from the east is a Bakerloo Line 1972 Stock running a train to Harrow & Wealdstone. The 1972 stock is some of the oldest stock running on the London Underground network and have been slated for replacement by the 'Evo Project' underground trains.
We then cut to Queen's Park, where one of London Overground's Class 313's is seen arriving with a train to Watford Junction from London Euston, still wearing the long obsolete 'Silverlink Metro' livery. The Class 313s were soon replaced after this video was taken by the mass introduction of Class 378's and have now seen work running for Southern in the Brighton area.
Also seen are many other 1972 stock trains as they meander in and out of the station, one seen entering the tunnel as a Freightliner Class 66 is seen racing towards Euston with an intermodal freight. This train would then take the North London Line across to Stratford and then continue on to Felixstowe Container Port.
Not long afterwards, we board one of the Class 313's and travel to Euston for our awaiting Pendolino, being overtaken by a London Midland Desiro at Kilburn High Road.
Enjoy!
