Chiqius Rivera is opening about her father's abuse.
In this exclusive clip from NBC Universo's The Riveras, Chiquis' sister Jacquie Marin revealed that her father, Jose Trinidad Marín, had been trying to contact her from prison. Marin was sentenced to more than 31 years in prison without parole for sexual assault and rape after spending nine years as a fugitive.
"He never admitted to it," Chiquis says. "He always said that my mom put this in my head and that she was a monster but my mom never put this in my end, this is something that I remember."
