Unboxing the Rhino Billiards Eclipse Pool Cue

The cue took about 3.5 weeks to come from their factory in Vietnam to the west coast of Canada. Ordered March 3/2024 and delivered March 27/2024.
When it arrived it seemed to be packaged quite well, however the package was slightly opened on one of the ends.
The cue hits well with low deflection. Out of the box the tip is quite flat so it needs reshaping to fit your needs. The joint is tight but when looking at it closely it does have a rounded edge on either side so it doesn't give it that true flush look between the two pieces. Not too concerning in my opinion.
The butt end is threaded and does unscrew.
The taper is nice and the shaft slides smooth on the fingers even without a glove.
Between the ferrule and tip is a clear slit which looks kind of cool when watching a shot from the side.
Overall, it's a good consistent cue if you don't want to spend the money for a high end brand name carbon fiber cue.
