Neighbors INTENTIONALLY Run Over Dogs As 40+ Pups Wander Off Rural Property [STORY BELOW]

Some days, rescue work really breaks your heart. This is one of those days. Our team has intervened to save over 40 neglected dogs trapped on a rural property. The owners don’t have a fence, and now neighbors are threatening violence against the dogs roaming wild. We desperately need YOUR help to save their lives.

We are a tiny rescue with limited resources and an even more limited budget. Right now, we just don’t have the capacity to take on vetting for 40+ dogs. We’ve provided fencing to the owners and begged them to put it up around their property to protect their dogs. They didn’t listen until we threatened to get a warrant and seize all the animals.

The neighbors consider the dogs a nuisance and have started taking violent action against them. They are literally running dogs down if they step into the street. We recently lost a beautiful dog named Chevy after a neighbor hit him with his car, then ran him over a second time. Our county won’t do anything for nuisance animals. They actually encourage people to shoot them. It makes us sick to our stomachs.

As this is being written, we are working to deworm, vaccinate, microchip, and spay/neuter as many dogs as possible. So far, we’ve taken 12 pups off the property, started Heartworm treatment for 9, and rehomed 10. We’ve also started administering treatment for mange and other health concerns. Our team is spread thin, and we urgently need support.
