A Wild camp off the beaten track of the Corridor Route to Scafell Pike is the amazing little tarn of Lambfoot Dub. Its a hidden gem of a place at 2257ft on a high shelf just below Great End.
Starting at Seathwaite Farm and heading up Styhead Gill, via Styhead Tarn to the emergency shelter box and then proceeding on to the Corridor Route towards Scafell Pike. Between Skew Gill and Greta gill to the left climbing approx 140metres straight up the fell side is this impressive tarn.
The views are amazing and to feel alone in the heart of the Lake District in the tranquillity and peace is what wild camping is all about for me.
