Southbound on the Great Divide Trail (GDT), Section A, the southernmost section of the GDT.
This hike went from Coleman, Alberta to the Red Rock Parkway in Waterton Lakes National Park for a total of about 60miles/96 kms. This included La Coulotte Ridge, some of the most challenging hiking of the GDT, scenic Willoughby Ridge, gorgeous, high, scenic mountain views, and more. Starting in June meant snow, both beautiful, and challenging.
