Museum guide walk through walls glitch (Pokémon Yellow)

This is an easier version of the Safari Zone walk through walls glitch that doesn't require a poisoned Pokémon. This glitch is based on the Hooked Dragonite glitch from Pokémon Red and Blue found by Paco81, except talking to the NPC from the right on the tile below the Pokémon Center door has different effects exclusive to Yellow.

For some reason, it also causes the S.S. Anne NPC to disappear, though this doesn't matter too much because of the Surf glitch (hold Start while walking left or right, save and reset to Surf down the next time you Surf) that allows the player to reboard the S.S. Anne much more easily. It may also be possible to enter the S.S. Anne by walking through the NPC with the walk through walls effect enabled, though it only work sometimes and I haven't tested this with the glitch.

Steps:
1)Walk around in the Safari Zone until you have a low number of steps left (I used 40)
2)Perform the initial steps of the Glitch City glitch - walk out, say 'No' to the "Leaving early?" message, save and reset, walk out and say 'No' to the "Would you like to join the hunt?" message.
3) Fly or Teleport to Pewter City, walk to the NPC next to the PokéMart and talk to him. Say no to his "Did you check out the MUSEUM?" message to make him walk you to the Pewter Museum of Science. The aim is to run out of Safari Zone steps while he is still escorting you to the museum. Repeat steps 1-3 with a lower number of steps.
4) You will receive the PA: Ding-dong! Time's up! Your SAFARI GAME is over!" message and be taken to the Safari Zone gate. There will also be a small graphical glitch where the NPC turns into a tile that says 'y z é d'. Step out of the Safari Zone gate to walk out of Pewter City's exit 04 - the Pewter City PokéMart.
5) As you arrive, you'll receive the "It's right here! You have to pay to get in, but it it's worth it! See you around!" message. Open the menu, save and reset.
6) Walk to the Pokémon Center and the NPC should be walking downwards in a line through the Pokémon Center door. He will loop through to the top of the screen from the bottom of the screen as well. Talk to him from the right just below the Pokémon Center door and say 'NO' to his message to his message again.
7) You will walk automatically and the menu should keep popping up. Hold B when the menu is closed to walk around in any direction but down.
8) If you Fly away, you'll be able to walk down again and you can walk anywhere while holding B until you enter a door or battle a Trainer.
