The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has joined other cities across the country in trying to implement a rental registration and inspection program. Their incorrect belief is that the rental inspection program will help prevent blighted and derelict properties. However, it will burden good landlords and do nothing to stop the bad ones.
