Описание: Ten-month-old Aalin Sherin Abraham tragically passed away after a road accident, declared brain-dead at Amrita Hospital.
In a remarkable act of courage, her parents donated her organs, giving life to four patients:
• Liver: KIMS Hospital
• Kidneys: Government Medical College
• Heart valves: Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology
• Eyes: Amrita Hospital Eye Bank
A green corridor by police ensured timely organ transport.
The state honoured the family with a ceremonial guard of honour at Pathanamthitta church; Veena George and Suresh Gopi attended.
Pinarayi Vijayan praised the parents’ courage; Kamal Haasan highlighted how Aalin will now help other children live better lives.
